Day -1 > SECTOR : ARRIVAL AND TRANSFER TO HOTEL
Our skilled multilingual drivers will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotels. Enjoy comfort and convenience at some of the greatest hotels in Nairobi including the EkaHotel, Double Tree hotel, Nairobi Serena hotel or the Sarova hotel. They are conveniently located within easy access to the airport and the capital city. While here, enjoy a dining experience fit for kings from locally sourced cuisines.
Day -2 > SECTOR : NAIROBI TO MERU NATIONAL PARK > 289 Km. Approx 6hrs
After a hearty buffet breakfast, we head out to Meru National Park. This is an untapped gem that offers picturesque landscapes and houses some of Kenya’s great wild animals.
We will have lunch and enjoy the facilities at the Rhino River Lodge. The journey from Nairobi to Meru can be quite tiring and this is an awesome time to take a power nap in preparation for a full day game drive at the Meru National Park.
Day -3 > SECTOR : FULL DAY AT MERU NATIONAL PARK
We spend a full day at the Meru National Park after a hearty breakfast.
Drive by a herd of elephants walking to the river for a drink while playing in the dust, watch the giraffes reach for the top leaves of the tallest trees, watch the Grevy’s Zebra graze while still on the lookout for predators and the hippos as they swim in the cool waters and watch the evening go by.
Day -4 > SECTOR : FULL DAY AT MERU NATIONAL PARK
Another day of finding more incredible animals. By now, we have mastered the art of patience. We can spot the animals even from a distance. The game drives offer a panoramic view of the rivers, the plains and if lucky, the snow-capped Mt. Kenya from a distance.
The park has great lookout points that provide the avid adventurer an opportunity to be in tune with nature. Animals to watch out for include cheetahs, lions, hippos, hartebeests, giraffes, and leopards. The park is also known for some rare antelopes. This includes the duiker, dik-dik, and the Lesser Kudu.
We spent the night at the lodge after a sumptuous dinner.
Day -5 > SECTOR : MERU NATIONAL PARK – NYAHURURU > 260Km . Approx 5hrs
We check out in the morning and head for Nyahururu. A quick stop over at the Thompsons falls for some memorable picture moments against a backdrop of the thundering waters as they hit the river down below.
The afternoon will be a good time to relax and enjoy the services at the Panari hotel in Nyahururu.
Day -6 > SECTOR : NYAHURURU-NAKURU > 63 Km. Approx 1hr 30min
We take a drive to Lake Nakuru, famous for thousands of flamingoes that form a pink backdrop against the beautiful lake. The park is a haven for bird watchers with over 400 species visiting the Lake at different times of the year. The park also has awesome animals including the Reedbuck, the Rothschild giraffe, the Baboon, Lion, Buffalo, warthogs, impalas, elands, and the black and white rhino.
After an extensive afternoon game drive, we will have dinner and spend overnight at the lodge.
Day -7 > SECTOR : NAKURU-MASAI MARA>285km. Approx 6hrs
Begin our journey to the Mara after breakfast. After some lunch, we take an evening walk and visit the Masai village next to the park. Their rich culture and artistic skills will wow you!
Day -8 > SECTOR : FULL DAY AT MASAI MARA
Today we spend the day exploring the breathtaking Masai Mara reserve. There is no denying the beauty and the feeling of the being at home feeling one experiences while at the Mara. You will not want to leave, once you spot your first animal.
The Mara is known for the great wildebeest migration that happens each year. Thousands of wildebeests, antelopes, and zebras cross over from the Serengeti in search of food and water.
The park also houses the big five and today will be a great day to spot any of them. We will see this and other animals including the Lion, buffalo, elephant, rhino, cheetah, leopard, Zebras, giraffes, gazelles, elands, and hyenas.
Head back after the evening drive for a shower, rest, dinner and overnight at lodge.
Day -9 > SECTOR : FULL DAY AT MASAI MARA
On day nine, continue exploring the Mara. Apart from seeing the incredible wildlife and their different habitats, we will also get to visit a Masai village. These are the true savannah experts.
A hot air balloon ride should also be in your bucket list. This gives you an aerial view of the park. Watch as the animals continue with their lives in their natural habitats. It’s an awesome view that provides for picture-perfect moments.
We take a rest and spend the night at the lodge.
Day -10 > SECTOR : MASAI MARA-NAIROBI > 260Km. Approx 6hrs
We start our morning after some heavy breakfast and head out to Nairobi. We get back in time for lunch for which we enjoy delicious cuisines at one of the prestigious hotels in Nairobi.
Our guide will then return you to your pick up point or take you to the airport.
